Regarding Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's child wanting to dress more like a boy:

But you also...protect their...I mean...we talk about protecting our children in terms of safety and health but we also should protect them emotionally, right and psychologically and I think if you know that your child is (takes breath)...in a way suffering or feeling trapped...ummm...being forced by society to wear certain clothing type..umm..based on gender, then as a parent (pause) and not having gone through this myself...ummm...I would imagine that you would want to make the best decision for your child to keep them safe there (gestures to heart) too not just externally in terms of safety etcetera but also just in their hearts and mind so they feel confident in who they are ... -Elisbeth Hasselbeck 1/24/12
